Disney And Lucasfilm Release A New Clip From ‘Star Wars: Andor’ Ahead Of Its Premiere Next Month
Ahead of Star Wars Andor releasing next month, Lucasfilm and Disney have released an official clip from the show. Featuring Diego Luna As Cassian Andor, the clip is a brief yet tense exchange between Cassian and another character arguing over the contents of a sealed container. The man tells Andor that the box isn't usually what he works with and that he knows it is from an Imperial naval base. After a brief flash of Imperial credits, the two begin a more heated exchange focusing on what Cassian needs the contents of this box to do. As the two discuss what is going on, Cassian explains how simple it is to steal from the Empire.
But the subtext of the scene seems to be far more interesting. As Andor explains how the Empire is so proud of itself, he appears furious. He describes how due to their hubris, the rank and file of the Empire believe that no one would dare steal their supplies. So much so that Andor explains all you need is a uniform, dirty hands, and an imperial token. Showing that the Empire firmly believe there will never be opposition to them, as they control the galaxy. But, Cassian Andor seems to have other ideas. Season one of Star Wars: Andor will premier on Disney+ in three parts on September 21st.
