Did Hugh Jackman Accidentally Reveal The Title Of 'Deadpool 3'?
After today’s video from the actor’s social media page, Hugh Jackman might be on Kevin Feige's list. The internet is abuzz after news broke a few months ago of Hugh Jackman donning the adamantium claws once more to join frenemy Ryan Reynolds for the Merc with the Mouth’s third film.
In the video, Jackman asks the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to back out on shortlisting the song “Good Afternoon” from Reynold’s seasonal hit Spirited for a nomination for the best song category. Jackman remarked that if Reynolds were to win an Oscar, it would make the next year of his life “insufferable”:
“It would — I mean, I have to spend a year with him shooting Wolverine and Deadpool. Trust me, it would be impossible. It would be a problem.”

Ryan Reynolds quickly responded to the video in a joking manner about the film’s mentioned title, Wolverine and Deadpool.

At the time of this writing, Marvel Studios has yet to release a title for the film. However, with the title referencing both actors in the short time since the video’s release, fans are convinced this is the title.
The third installment of the Deadpool franchise will be within the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Shawn Levy directing the film. It will be a reunion between the two actors since the movie Real Steel. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the first two Deadpool films and are returning to write the script for the third film.
Deadpool 3 comes to theaters on November 8, 2024.
