DC's 'Kite-Man' Trailer Released Ahead Of Series' July 18 Launch

HBO Max released a teaser for Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, an animated spinoff to the popular DC Animation series Harley Quinn. The show's official logline promises a unique and intriguing premise, “Kite Man and Golden Glider take their relationship to the next level by opening a bar in the shadow of Lex Luther’s Legion of Doom. Nobody said serving cold ones to the most dangerous rogues outside of Arkham Asylum would be easy, but sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name and how to hide a body.”
Fans can look forward to the return of Matt Orberg as Kite Man, a character they've grown to love in the DC Animated Universe. Stephanie Hsu will be Golden Gilder, and James Adomian will be Bane alongside Natasia Demetriou as Malice, Keith David as Darkseid, Rory Scovel as Gus the Goon, and the late Lance Reddick as Lex Luthor.

The executive vice president of original comedy and adult animation for HBO Max, Suzanna Makkos, said of the show, “We love the wild and fun world of Harley Quinn so much we just had to make a spin-off and who better to center it around than the outcast Kite Man.”
Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey, co-creators of Harley Quinn, are executive producers along with Sam Register. Lorey will also be the showrunner.
Mark your calendars because Kite Man: Hell Yeah! is set to hit HBO Max on July 18. The wait is almost over!
