'Cyberpunk 2077' New Patch Is Out, Here's The Details
CD Projekt Red came back from the brink with the devotion and work they’ve put into making Cyberpunk 2077 a vastly better game than it was at launch. Recently, however, it was suggested that they are done with development for it, as production has shifted to a full-time focus on The Witcher 4.
However, it seems that was not entirely the case. Yesterday, CD Projekt Red released a surprise update for the game with their 2.2 patch, available now.
Much of the patch seems devoted to improving the photo mode, as well as the car customization and purchasing elements in the game. Further updates include a slew of new customization options for the game’s main character, V. This includes new eye colors (it’s a cyberpunk game about body augmentation and modification…), lip, cheek, and eye makeup types, and more.
Additionally, there are some quest gameplay updates that make it easier to know where to go and some that are specific to the game’s only DLC, Phantom Liberty. Other updates were more relative to some rather niche and specific issues that were in the game, as well as PC-specific fixes that should improve the game’s playability on the variety of PC systems out there.
Though it was a surprise, and The Witcher 4 is in full production, this seems to be an indication that CD Projekt Red is not yet done with Cyberpunk 2077.
