Check Out This Massive ‘Star Wars’ Store In Utah
Any Star Wars fan who loves merchandise should consider a visit to Valley Fair Mall of Utah on a Saturday, where a pop-up store dedicated to Star Wars merchandise from across time is open for business.
Having opened in August, the store is made up of one man’s collection. Stuart Turner had made it his life’s mission to collect as much Star Wars merchandise as he could. Having been hooked to the franchise at a young age from the first Marvel graphic novel that he had received, his love shows in the large number of items within his collection. Two years ago, he had passed on, with his collection being passed to his kids.

Wanting to celebrate the memory of their dad and bring joy to many people with the collection that he had amassed, Garet and Jordan Turner decided to open a pop-up shop within the Valley Fair Mall. Every Saturday from noon, the merchandise is available to view and purchase. While it had been closed for a while, the store has now returned for the month of October, with more merchandise available and new pieces of that collection being added every week.
The co-owner of The Nerd Store, Roger Prows, was surprised at just how much stuff there was to this collection upon the initial setup. During the news piece about the store to Fox 13 News, he said they had put in over 200 man hours to get it all sorted and set up, and it shows with how beautifully it is all displayed.
From images that have been shared via The Nerd Store, there’s everything a Star Wars fan could dream of: a wall full of action figures from across the eras, tables filled with plushies, games, puzzles, figures, and household items, shelves stacked with graphic novels and other books. Whatever a fan could want from a store of Star Wars merchandise, this place probably has.
