Check Out These Stunning 'Star Wars' Artwork Exclusive To San Diego Comic-Con
The month of July brings more news about San Diego Comic-Con. With the badges mailed out and the event finalized, fans are getting a better picture of what will be at the world-renown celebration of everything pop culture. Even though Star Wars will not be making a significant presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year (after all, Star Wars Celebration was only a little more than a month ago), it does not mean the franchise will be absent from the scene. Among the exclusives announcements trickling out, Star Wars fans are thrilled to see what items they can get their hands on in the Lucas Pavilion of the exhibit hall. Trends International, a leading publisher of licensed posters, is bringing items from the galaxy far, far away exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con.
With the Obi-Wan Kenobi series recently released on Disney+, Trends International celebrates the epic showdown between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader in this exclusive 24 x 36 poster by artist Russel Walks.

The crimson glow of Darth Vader’s lightsaber framed the grizzled profile of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The red and green graphics reminiscent of Vader’s chest panel adorned the top right corner of the poster. The Aurebesh simply reads “Kenobi.”
This hand-numbered poster is printed on premium paper and is available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con. Artist Russel Walks will also be signing the stunning poster at the Trends International booth #2913-H on Friday, July 22 at 2 PM.
With the upcoming Ahsoka series coming out soon in 2023, Trends bring another poster showcasing the saga’s most infamous villain. First introduced in Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn Trilogy, Grand Admiral Thrawn officially became canon when he appeared in Star Wars Rebels. Ever since Ahsoka roared the question “Where is Grand Admiral Thrawn?” in her live-action appearance in The Mandalorian, fans have been speculating whether the brilliant tactician will be featured in Ahsoka.
Artist Joe Corroney brings Grand Admiral Thrawn in a familiar pose sitting on his command chair with steepled fingers. You can almost feel like they are in his presence with his crimson eyes staring right through your soul. Thrawn’s flagship Chimaera, surrounded by TIE Defenders, represented only a fraction of his accomplishments in the Imperial Navy.
This hand-numbered 24 x 36 poster is available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con. Artist Joe Corroney will be signing the poster at the booth on Saturday, July 23, at 2 PM.
Also available at Trends International’s booth and website is this beautiful laser engraved wood art piece of Star Wars: A New Hope. Each piece is unique, with varying colors and wood grains.
