Rumors are bouncing around about the latest Nintendo console, as we fully enter the new year. In order to avoid any supply issues, it has been reported that the gaming giant is looking to manufacture at least 10 million Switch 2’s. Many consoles, most notably the original Switch, ended up suffering supply issues in the long run. By making more units, Nintendo hopes to avoid this issue. According to Bloomberg reporter Takashi Mochizuki, “amusement display” data can be used to uncover this goal. Of course, none of this has been confirmed by Nintendo. These are still just rumors, and we can not confirm if any of this is actually happening or not. All we can do is wait for an official response from Nintendo or affiliated companies.

Nintendo’s fiscal year ends in March 2025, and we still don’t know when and if the Switch 2 is going to be released. There are still several unconfirmed rumors spreading around, and we need to keep that in mind when we’re discussing them. Any information on the successor to the Switch will be released by Nintendo, and there is still no word on when and if that’ll happen. Until then, we’ll keep an eye out and will be sure to let the readers know about any other information we can find out.
