Albert Wesker Will Likely Be The Next Addition To 'Dead By Daylight'
During their anniversary broadcast, Behaviour announced a second Resident Evil x Dead By Daylight chapter called Resident Evil: Project W. Since the broadcast, fans have been guessing what the W specifically might mean, and now we have a potential answer! A reputable Twitter account, DBDLeaks, is known in the community for its ability to leak major details regarding the game, and it seems they won again. They posted a series of tweets, some with photos and proof, regarding the entire project (and even the possibility of Stranger Things coming back into the Dead By Daylight fold with new content!) - Of course, this is all still speculation, but, DBDLeaks so far has not been wrong.
To start, three new potential characters could be coming into the game, and they are certainly the most anticipated and requested of the franchise. First, we have Albert Wesker, the Umbrella Corporation’s most notorious virologist and a main villain of the franchise. Ada Wong is a major fan favorite and spy, and Rebecca Chambers is a biochemist and a member of the BSAA and S.T.A.R.S. Originally, the first crossover offered us Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and Nemesis with skins for Leon and Jill that turned them into Chris and Claire Redfield. If this leak proves to be accurate, we will have a full cast of Resident Evil fan-favorite characters to survive in this asymmetrical horror game.
Aside from the new characters, we will likely get new perks, new icons, and prestige charms for each character. Each character does have set character descriptions, but it seems the perks have yet to be finished. One thing of note is that Albert Wesker’s “killer name” will be The Mastermind, which is quite fitting for his character. There was also a clip posted by DBDLeaks of the Wesker chase music and a very high chance that Wesker will have his own voice lines during in-game moments like hooking a survivor, grabbing and downing a survivor, Mori, and more.
