Ahsoka Reported To Appear In 'Star Wars: Andor' Series

For some time now, Disney+’s original series Andor has been shrouded in mystery since its announcement. One of the things that we have been certain about for a long time now is that Diego Luna is returning to reprise his role as Cassian Andor. Amidst the mystery, there have been rumors, such as that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi could be making an appearance in the upcoming Andor series. If this particular report is true, then it could mean seeing another great Kenobi moment after Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. How or why are questions all fans are asking. Many fans suspect that Kenobi will cross paths with Cassian, thanks to Senator Bail Organa. Senator Organa is one of the leaders of the Rebellion, and is good friends with Obi-Wan, so it would make sense to connect Kenobi’s cameo to Senator Organa.

But the reporting does not end there, as there is the possibility of seeing another Jedi in the new upcoming Star Wars series. On March 3rd, Kessel Run Transmissions host Cory Van Dyke reported that Anakin Skywalker’s former apprentice Ahsoka Tano will also be making an appearance in Andor. The thought of Ahsoka fighting alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi in live-action would make such a thrilling adventure filled with excitement, action, and hopefully an amazing lightsaber duel.

Several fans believe that Ahsoka’s involvement in the show will include her secret identity “Fulcrum,” and that this will lead to her getting into an adventure with Cassian, or Kenobi himself. Ahsoka’s appearance in the new Andor series could also tie into appearance in Star Wars Rebels, and how she began to help the Rebellion.

Others believe that Ahsoka’s cameo will lead to the events of Star Wars Rebels. I personally believe this theory. The Andor series begins five years before Rogue One (so around the time Star Wars Rebels begins, but before the Ghost gets more involved with the Rebel Alliance). Whether this is true or not, it would be super interesting watching Ahsoka in live-action again, before the debut of her very own series. It would also be amazing to see Obi-Wan in action after the events of his series, also coming up to Disney+.

Andor will explore many sides of the Rebellion, sides that we haven’t seen before in the Star Wars universe, and will probably show us a different rebel cell, like when we followed the Ghost crew in Star Wars Rebels. This show would also be a great opportunity to explore the hardships that the Rebellion has to face to obtain what they have, and to explore the dark decisions, soldiers must face after completing questionable orders, like when we saw Cassian doubting his orders to kill Jyn’s father Galen Erso in Rogue One

The series promises to show us a different side of the Rebellion. Whether it is a good, or bad side, is still to be seen. Ahsoka and Kenobi’s potential cameos in the new Andor series would be such a big deal, since this opens a whole line of questions, as well as many theories on what it could all mean for the future of Star Wars.

Andor will bring us adventures never seen before within the Rebellion and the Star Wars universe itself. If Ahsoka and Kenobi end up making cameos in the series, which other characters from the Star Wars universe could also be making an appearance in Andor? Alan Tudyk has said he is not in the show's first season but that he would appear eventually. Whatever we see in this show, it will change the future of Star Wars, and will bring us a whole new and exciting adventure.
