In the months since Daniel Craig’s version of James Bond met his end, fans have been wondering who will take the mantle of 007. In hopes that the next actor will have longevity, younger actors like Aaron Taylor-Johnson are being considered for the role. The 32-year-old actor has amassed notable movie credits, such as Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver) in Avengers: Age of Ultron, showcasing his wide range of thespian capabilities. James Bond could soon be added to his credits as industry watchers have reported that Taylor-Johnson met with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli and the meeting is said to have gone well.

The James Bond character and media franchise have been a cultural mainstay for decades. Early James Bond films saw some actors in the role of one or two movies, increasing as time progressed. With the rise of long-running franchises such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the need for a singular actor to remain in the role becomes increasingly vital to the franchise's continued success.
