A Sneak Peek Of Crtical Role's 'The Mighty Nein' Animated Series Was Just Revealed During SDCC
The reveals just keep coming from San Diego Comic-Con, which is happening this weekend. Fans should expect a whole bunch of different reveals from their favorite types of media. Critical Role fans have been treated well so far, as they got a first look into season 3 of The Legend Of Vox Machina. However, that wasn’t all, as an animated sneak peek of the upcoming series, based on campaign 2, The Mighty Nein was also released. While it’s a rough outline of what the series will be, it's the first sneak peek fans have.
The sneak peek is in the early stages of animation, but it’s the first glimpse we have into this upcoming series. It features a meet-cute between Jester Lavorre (Laura Bailey) and Fjord Stone (Travis Willingham). She is on the run and runs into Fjord, who she begs to save her from the guards chasing her. Fjord being his awkward self, tries to talk his way out of the situation, but it doesn’t work. His famous sword magically appears, and a blast shoots out of his other hand and hits the guard. He is confused as to what just happened, as he doesn’t have magic. Other guards come and see the damage done, and go after the two heroes. Jester takes Fjord’s hand, and the two run off. That is where the sneak peek ends.
