A Set Photo From The Upcoming 'Superman' Has Been Released
The set of the upcoming Superman movie has come to the state of Ohio, and several set photos have sprung up. The crew was recently filming in Cleveland at the City Hall; several scenes for the film are being recorded in the city, reportedly until at least July 6, 2024. A historic former newspaper house-turned mixed-use building, the Leader Building, is also serving as The Daily Planet headquarters. In some of these photos, David Corenswet’s Clark Kent/Superman is visible, along with several other cast members and special set pieces. Here are some of the highlights from the Cleveland Local News!
One image got a fair bit of buzz capturing a highly-anticipated superhero duo. Edi Gathegi’s Mr. Terrific was revealed, lining up to the Michael Holt iteration of the legacy hero down to the black, white, and red ‘FAIR PLAY’ jacket. A new look at Corenswet’s costume was given as well. The colors are a lot brighter and the suit is a lot cleaner compared to the promotional image released in May.

In a more tense moment with Superman, an unnamed character in a black bodysuit, the Engineer, Rick Flag Sr., and a large group of soldiers are captured. This production shot gives a decent look at María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer; she isn’t coated in metal or in clothing to edit it on later, but the suit and situation imply some sort of agent status. It also appears to introduce Frank Grillo to the cast; the actor has been confirmed to play Rick Flag Sr. in the second season of Peacemaker, which will be set after Superman.
