A New Photo From The Final Season Of 'The Flash' Gives Fans Their First Look At Green Arrow And Kid Flash

DC

On January 3, it was announced that David Ramsey and Keiynan Lonsdale would be returning as John Diggle/Spartan and Wally West/Kid Flash in the ninth episode of the ninth and final season of The Flash. Less than 24 hours later, it was confirmed that Stephen Amell would be returning as Oliver Queen. Now, after what was probably a successful romp of a filming week, Ramsey is showing gratitude, giving fans a look on his Instagram at the three of them and series star Grant Gustin suited up.

Ramsey captioned the photo by congratulating The Flash on its run, saying “Congratulations to Team Flash for nine incredible seasons. But most importantly.. thank ALL OF YOU for your undying support for this universe. None of this is possible without you! Enjoy the mashup you had no idea you needed! #TheFlashFinalSeason #ArrowLives!”

Yes, the photo does confirm that Amell will be suiting up as the Green Arrow, bringing into question how it could be a present-day event since Oliver’s death in Crisis on Infinite Earths. However it happens, it seems like it will from showrunner Eric Wallace’s statements.

The first time the quartet was involved together was “Invasion!”, at a time when Wally was still being kept on the sidelines and had to defy Iris and the rest of Team Flash to get involved. Diggle was unfortunately one of the heroes mind-controlled by the Dominators. Barry and Oliver tried to break through to their friends, and Wally got a little too reckless and was knocked out by Supergirl. Wally also attended the aborted West-Allen wedding in “Crisis on Earth-X” where Oliver was best man, but Diggle was absent.

Sendhil Ramamurthy, who played Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork in season 6, was the third confirmed return in the same report as Ramsey and Lonsdale for the same episode. The Flash begins its final season on February 8 on The CW, and it will run thirteen episodes.
