A New 'Blade' Game Is In Development From Arkane Lyon
The Game Awards this year had more announcements than it did awards. Many new games were announced, including one by Arkane Lyon, who is the developer behind Deathloop. Their upcoming new game is exciting and will focus on the vampire hunter, Blade.
The studio premiered its first teaser trailer during the Game Awards. Bethesda, a producer of the upcoming game, has called it a “mature, single-player, third-person, game set in the heart of Paris”. Arkane Lyon has just started developing the game, and Marvel has said that the game will tell a new, original story. It will take players to a quarantined section of Paris, during a supernatural emergency. Vampires have emerged, and are terrorizing the city, and forcing locals to shelter in their homes during the night and wait for sunrise.

This is not the studio's first foray into vampire games, as Arkane Austin previously developed the 2023 game Redfall. This will be Lyon’s first time taking a jab at developing a vampire-slaying action title.
Since it’s still in early development, it is unknown whether or not the game will be exclusive to a certain console. The game timing couldn’t be better, as Blade will officially be reintroduced into the MCU, when a new movie staring Mahershala Ali drops on November 7th, 2025
