D23 Brazil, Disney’s fan-focused event brought to Brazil for the first time, is in full swing and bringing a fair bit of news.  In the Star Wars section of the convention floor, fans spotted a new Andor poster! The poster states the series’ name with the subtitle A Star Wars Story. Cassian is the only visible figure in the image; he has a bit of a shinier look as he’s walking towards the camera, his clothes are mostly off-black with white, grays, and tans thrown in. The Rebel has a long jacket over a vest-like top, a white collared shirt, and a pair of thick black and white boots. He appears to be standing near a hangar.

Plot details are being kept under wraps for the second season of Andor. According to the Writers Guild of America West directory, Tony Gilroy wrote the first three episodes, Beau Willimon wrote episodes four through six, Dan Gilroy wrote episodes seven through nine, and Tom Bissell wrote the final three. Many characters will return to the series, including Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma. Several characters who have appeared elsewhere will also be featured, including Ben Mendelsohn as Orson Krennic, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, and Alan Tudyk as the droid K-2SO.  Season two is scheduled for a 2025 release.
