Teases: B2 Super Battle Droid, Mace Windu, and Clone Commander. But where is Padmé?

In the pictures displaying the new five releases already available for pre-order, we got a tease in the background of other figures that could be announced soon. The pictures show a B2 Super Battle Droid, Mace Windu, and a Clone Commander. Hot Toys has previously teased expected releases using promotional pictures of other figures in the line in the past, as happened with Clone Wars Season 7 Ahsoka Tano and the tease of Darth Maul.

On May 5th Hot Toys announced through their official Facebook page that more announcements on this line will be dropping soon. If it in fact ends up being these three figures, it will be good news for the fans that have long awaited for a 1/6 scale Mace Windu to complete their Jedi collection, as well as the army-building collectors expecting to add many B2 Battle Droid and the Clone Commander to their displays.

These pictures must be taken cautiously in any case. Since the presentation of Padmé in 2019 we have not received any news on when the Senator from Naboo would be getting her own high-end figure, or if it will even happen at all. There are some fans still expecting to include one of the most important characters in the prequels to their collections, the three-year wait on Padmé even led to collectors treating her release as an April Fools joke in Facebook groups. With some luck, she will also be hitting pre-order soon. Will she also be announced next?

Will you be starting your collection with these new releases? Which Star Wars character are you looking forward to the most to get its own Hot Toys release in the future?
