Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is one of the latest Disney+ series that will be released in Fall 2022. This animated mini-series has been taking the fandom by storm. Just what is in store for us, when we decide to watch it? There are several things to be talked about, but we should get this out of the way before we begin. We are not here to be talking about theories or to speculate about the show. We are here to talk about the facts and just the facts, with little room for anything else. With that out of the way, on to the main feature.

Created and written by Dave Filoni, Tales of the Jedi is a six-episode anthology featuring Jedi from the Prequel era. Half of the episodes will focus on Count Dooku, the other half will feature Ashoka Tano; other Jedi, including Qui-Gon Jinn and Mace Windu, will feature as supporting characters. The cast includes returning actors Dee Bradley Baker, Corey Burton, Ashley Eckstein, Terrence Carson, Liam Neeson, and Matt Lanter. New cast members include Janina Gavankar as Pav-ti, Ashoka’s mother, and Micheál Richardson, Neeson’s son, as a younger Qui-Gon Jinn. Kevin Kiner is composing the music, Charles Murray and Nathaniel Villanueva are serving as directors, and Carrie Beck is serving as Executive Producer alongside Filoni. It is being animated in the style of Star Wars the Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. A trailer was released on September 10.

The Star Wars galaxy is coming to life in new and interesting ways, and with Andor right around the corner, Disney+ will remain the center of the franchise, for now anyway. As always, we must return to the unknown regions of the internet, and wait for more information about the franchise.
