Could Quinlan Vos Appear In Season 2 Of 'The Bad Batch'?
With Tipoca City gone and Crosshair deliberately staying with the Empire, the stakes for the Bad Batch are surely rising in season 2. The new trailer released a few days ago indicates that the missions of the rouge clones and their protege Omega are getting more dangerous and more into the face of the Empire than ever before.
Besides Depa Billaba and her Padawan, Caleb Dume Hunter and his crew haven't had contact with any other Jedi since the show's very first episode, but there were of course a few who had survived Order 66, and one of them, who would be quite fitting to cross paths with Clone Force 99 is Quinlan Vos.

The Rogue Jedi
The Jedi Master from Kiffar was created for Dark Horse Comics by John Ostrander and Jan Duursema and primarily appeared in the Star Wars: Republic and Star Wars: Jedi comic series. Like his apprentice, Aayla Secura, George Lucas discovered Vos in one of the comics and was fond enough of him to first put him in a scene as a background character in The Phantom Menace. He later even made him an animated character in season one of The Clone Wars, where he was on the lookout for Ziro the Hutt, together with Obi-Wan Kenobi. This means that Quinlan Vos remained in Star Wars canon even after the Expanded Universe became Legends in 2014.
Vos would have been the main character in a never produced story arc of The Clone Wars, where he was tasked to assassinate Count Dooku shortly before the end of the clone wars. He teamed up with Asajj Ventress, who later also became his lover. This massive eight episodes arc was later released as the novel Dark Disciple by Christie Golden (2015).
Quinlan Vos was slated to appear in Revenge of the Sith, but his death scene on Kashyyyk never got beyond raw animation, and so just a throwaway line about him remained in the final film ("Master Vos has moved his troops to Boz Pity").
Interestingly enough, the mobile app Star Wars Card Trader revealed one of the few things about his life after the end of the clone wars: Vos's character card states that Vos survived the Jedi Purge and went into hiding with his lover Khaleen Hentz. The human female with purple hair was also created by Ostrander and Duursema and had been Vos' wife and mother of his son Korto in the Expanded Universe.
Vos later assisted the Hidden Path, an underground movement that aimed to hide Force-sensitive children from the Empire, as Obi-Wan Kenobi discovered his name on the wall of a safe house.
Besides his outer appearance, there are two other characteristics of Vos that were brought over into current Star Wars lore: First, he possessed the rare Force power of Psychometry, the ability to perceive the memories of others by touching objects with which they had had contact. And secondly, he was never afraid to touch the Dark Side and work in the underworld, causing him to be regarded as a rough (or grey) Jedi.
A Perfect Fit For The Bad Batch
There are several reasons why Quinlan Vos could appear in season 2 of The Bad Batch:
His history and abilities would make him a perfect partner in crime for Clone Force 99: He survived Order 66 and even though he had been Dooku's apprentice for some time during the events of Dark Disciple he hadn't been turned into another Inquisitor by the Empire after the war's end. Much rather, he became a target of the new regime, much like Hunter and his crew, so both obviously have no love for Palpatine's new order.
Being familiar with the shady underworld of the galaxy from his past missions, Vos and Hentz probably hid from the Empire there, and this is where the Bad Batch often operated on their missions. So it is at least plausible that they could come across the former Master during one of their assignments.
Quinlan’s often unorthodox manners and procedures would also align well with the way the Bad Batch was doing their business, so they would likely get along quite well.
There is one more reason why the paths of the rogue Jedi and the rogue clones could cross: season one of The Bad Batch hinted several times that Omega could be attuned to the Force, making her a priority target for Palpatine and the Inquisitors. And as Vos was, at some time before 9 BBY, helping the Path to get Force-sensitive children to safety, the young unaltered clone girl could someday require the help of the Kiffar Jedi, even if this means that she will be separated from her crew.
And finally, there is a rather simple but obvious real-life reason for Vos to appear in The Bad Batch: The character has already been animated for The Clone Wars, so reusing him would not require a lot of effort from Lucasfilm animators.
The most recent trailer didn't give any indication that Quinlan Vos will indeed appear in season 2 but it is likely that the included footage is part of just the first few episodes and that there will be another trailer for the second half of the season, probably around the end of January. He was also mentioned by Obi-Wan in the live-action Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+.
But the trailer did include a glimpse of Bail Organa and Tales of the Jedi showed that the senator from Alderaan was in contact with Ahsoka Tano, so there is no reason why he should not also seek the help of Quinlan Vos in his task to set up a rebellion against the Empire.
