These 5 Pieces Of Beautiful 'Star Wars' Fan Art Will Make Any Fan's Jaw Drop
There are no fans in the history of fandom like Star Wars fans. The people who love this franchise are often able to give others a bird’s eye view of details that novice fans simply have not yet learned. Theories and speculations about the planets, their inhabitants, individual characters across the galaxy far, far away, their intertwining storylines, numerous movies, television shows, and mini-series – from A New Hope to Ahsoka are often just as fascinating as the actual canonical storylines. One of the most fascinating aspects of this particular group of fans is the awe-inspiring, often jaw-dropping artwork that the artists conceptualize in a way that even cinematic professionals can hardly rival. We have noticed five beautiful pieces that everyone should have the opportunity to see.
Skialdi captured a lovely moment of Obi-Wan, Anakin, and baby Ahsoka that was simply titled “Some family time.” The adorable chibi art piece depicts the three different generations of Jedi with Obi-Wan as Anakin’s teacher who in turn would become Ahsoka’s teacher. This art style is known for showing the characters younger than they would be in real-time. This could represent a time of innocence for this particular trio while highlighting the significance of the love that they had for each other, placing Anakin in a paternal role, while Obi-Wan steps into the role of grandfather.

阿霄 siu @ college tweeted a beautiful illustration created by his wife. Like R2-D2, BB-8 only communicates in simple beeps, but he always manages to get his message across. This picture of Poe and BB-8 sharing a conversation with Poe listening intently exemplifies their relationship.
Uzuri Art shared a digital art piece that poses the question “What if Qui-Gon Jinn had survived the events of The Phantom Menace and gone on to serve in the Clone Wars?” Notice the use of the gray emblem in the background with the mix of light and dark, the black armor, and the darker robes. This could indicate how Qui-Gon was more of a gray Jedi. It could also symbolize light and darkness coming together, the choice to choose the light side, a balance to the Force itself.
Uzuri gives us a comparative piece titled “Evolution,” which demonstrates the changes that Obi-Wan undergoes in his life. The first digital artwork is meant to replicate a painting. One can almost see the brushstrokes creating shadows, the lines on the face, the swoop of his hair, and the growth of his beard. All these elements showcase growth and wisdom that come from years of experience.
The second portrait shows the evolution of Obi-Wan throughout the years along with his signature lightsaber stance. While the first piece is more static, the second conveys movements and action especially as seen in The Clone Wars animated series. In place of black, white, and gray shadows, the second piece feels brighter with the background fading from black to blue to white. The brightness of the lightsabers further highlight the piece.
Shyranno created a series centering on young Luke and Leia, and we are all for that! This anime style speaks for itself here, or rather it is Leia who speaks for the pair. It is an interesting concept building on the young Luke and Leia shown in Obi-Wan Kenobi. It also brings up the question of what they would have been like if they had been raised together. One thing is for certain, Leia would make sure that Luke’s orders were correct.
There are simply no fans like Star Wars fans, and there is no limit to their creativity and talent! Which of these are your favorites?
