People On Twitter React To 'Andor' Premiere
Andor is set five years prior to the events of Rogue One and focuses on how Cassian Andor went from a thief to the Rebel spy fans fell in love with when he first appeared in Rogue One. The series will have two seasons with the final episode of season two ending mere days away from the events of the film. The show will also feature long-time Star Wars character Mon Mothma as well as many new faces to the galaxy.

Star Wars fans are known for being vocal about new content on social media, especially Twitter, and Andor was no different. Starting hours before the first three episodes dropped, fans were already flooding the Twittersphere with theories, worries, and expectations for the new show. Some fans prepared for the premiere by sharing their artwork for Cassian Andor.
An unfortunate trend with social media is when users hate all other projects if they enjoy the new one. Many fans are bracing for this inevitable hate early on.
Since the episodes have dropped, the reaction from fans has been consistently good with some fans focusing on how few Easter eggs, cameos, or mentions of other Star Wars projects there were.
Others choose to focus on how much they are enjoying the darker side of Star Wars.
And some are doing their best to forget that they’ve ever seen Rogue One.
The show's favorite fan character, at least on Twitter, has been Cassian Andor’s droid B2EMO. Fans have made their love of this droid perfectly clear.
And some fans have even taken their love to the next level.
Inevitably the conversation for many fans turned to comparing and contrasting Andor with other Star Wars shows like The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Some fans pointed out that Andor is just as good as The Mandalorian.
While other fans wonder what impact Andor’s filmmaking style might have on The Mandalorian and future Star Wars projects.
Overall, it seems like fans are happy with the three-episode premiere and are eagerly awaiting Episode 4.
New episodes of Andor are streaming every Wednesday on Disney+.
