Good news for all Star Wars fans alike, the animated series The Bad Batch is coming back! The series about a group of experimental clones struggling to find a new purpose in the early days of the Empire is returning for Season 2 this fall to Disney+. It is super exciting to see the return of Clone Force 99, and boy, it seems that there will be some fun adventures on the horizon. Several updates have come along for the series so let’s dive into it.

First and foremost, it looks as though there is a time jump between seasons 1 and 2. It was shown that Omega is a bit older now and has longer hair. We also see that the Empire continues to press forward as it consolidates its hold over the galaxy, as we see a bit of Palpatine in the new trailer. It also will give The Bad Batch a brand new look as the team continues its journey in unknown waters.

The Bad Batch Season 2 is set to return to Disney+ in the fall of 2022 though an exact date is unknown.
