‘The Bad Batch' Fans Rejoice! The Clones Will Star In A New Miniseries From Dark Horse Comics

Welcome Clone Force 99 back because they’re returning on the comic pages! The Bad Batch is getting a new miniseries from Dark Horse Comics under the Hyperspace Stories banner. The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents centers around the Bad Batch during the Clone Wars as they hunt down the titular Separatist ghost agent responsible for “a daring heist on Coruscant.” This appears to take place before Echo is brought onto the team, as only the team's founding members are listed. The story is being written by Hyperspace Stories writer Michael Moreci, with Reese Hannigan, Elisabetta D’Amico, and Michael Atiyeh providing art.

The Bad Batch made their debut in a story arc planned for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which eventually saw release as part of the final season. On the back of this story arc, Clone Force 99 would get their own series, simply titled Star Wars: The Bad Batch, showing them having to survive in the early days of the Galactic Empire alongside the mysterious “Alpha.” They have shown up in the pages of Hyperspace Stories #10, leading the way for this new miniseries. Moreci is on record declaring the Bad Batch one of his favorites so that we can expect big things from them.
