Smile! Free DLC Coming For 'Sonic Frontiers' Coming Wednesday, Including A Photo Mode

New DLC is coming for Sonic Frontiers. This DLC includes new challenge modes, a new photo mode, and a new jukebox mode as well. There's a lot to cover about the exciting new content coming your way!

The jukebox mode includes 53 songs from every era across Sonic's 31-year history. Crush 40's “Open Your Heart” and “Live and Learn” from Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 respectively have both been confirmed, but joining them are songs such as “Reach for the Stars” from Sonic Colors, “Seaside Hill” from Sonic Heroes, “Deep Woods” from Sonic and the Black Knight, “Wave Ocean” from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), “Sand Oasis” from Sonic and the Secret Rings, and “Emerald Coast-Act 2” from Sonic Generations.

A new photo mode is also in this new DLC, allowing players to capture moments during Sonic's journey on the Starfall Islands. This option will be accessible from the pause menu and includes the camera controls and filters needed to make your Sonic snaps really pop.

Finally, there are two new challenge modes that will be available after the player completes the main campaign: Cyberspace Challenge and Battle Rush. Cyberspace Challenge is a time-attack mode where players must race against the clock to complete multiple stages in a row, while the Battle Rush is a mode where you battle large amounts of enemies, guardians, and Titans in one bout.

More DLC is on the way, including story-related content and DLC for Sonic’s birthday on June 23rd. Sonic Frontiers is currently available on all major platforms.
