Giancarlo Esposito Is Finally Coming To The MCU

Giancarlo Esposito will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is keeping tight-lipped about what character he may play. Giancarlo Esposito is best known for playing Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Esposito has already worked under a Disney imprint, playing the villainous Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian.
There was an appetite to get Giancarlo Esposito into Marvel when he was fan cast as Professor X by a number of websites. It got so bad Esposito ended up flatly refusing to play the character in a wheelchair on the Fade to Black podcast. But now, the Danish actor has said that Xavier is not the casting call he received, but that the part is coming “sooner rather than later” and it’s “better than you can imagine.”

It might be too much of a stretch to work out who Giancarlo Esposito is playing, but it might be possible to narrow down when he will appear.
Deadpool and Wolverine will be released in July, but that might be a little too soon for this announcement. Agatha is due out this autumn, and there are still a lot of unconfirmed cast members. Next, we have Captain America: Brave New World which should be available to view in cinemas from Valentine’s Day of 2025. If Giancarlo Esposito says that his character has an upcoming role, its likely to be in one of these two projects.
