Adult Swim’s My Adventures with Superman is getting a second season and has released a full trailer to get fans excited for the May 25, 2024, premiere. The official synopsis for the season reads, “In the latest season, the three best friends face a host of new threats. Powerful foes will emerge from Clark’s alien past, Amanda Waller will take aim at Superman, Lois will grapple with the future, and Jimmy Olsen will spend an unbelievable amount of money. Krypton is coming for our young heroes, and its arrival will test their strength, loyalty, and love like never before.” The premiere will include a two-episode drop and a new episode every Saturday. Additionally, new episodes will be available to stream the next day on Max.

Jack Quaid, Alice Lee, and Ishmel Sahid lend their voice talents to the roles of Clark Kent/Superman, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen, respectively. The trailer opens with Jimmy and Lois in peril, where an armed person asks who they are. A second later, Superman is on screen with an emphatic warning to leave his friends alone. The trailer reminds fans of the three primary protagonists and how they are striving to live their best lives. Next, the worst of the worst villains get their introduction, landing on the presumable “big bad,” Lex Luthor. Conversation suggests that Superman may be the target of a smear campaign, implying that while he defends Metropolis from evildoers, he also attracts them.

The screen fades into a mysterious cloudy background, with a voiceover announcing the premiere date: “My Adventures With Superman Season 2 One Hour Premiere May 25th Midnight To 1A on TOONAMI Next Day On max.” The next sequence shows Kent discovering a baby that could be from his home planet, adding a new layer of intrigue to the plot. The final scenes are a whirlwind, from an armed Lois Lane to Supergirl's unexpected aerial dive attack. What could it all mean? Fans will need to tune in to get the full scoop!
